AI Ethics & Governance’ panel

I had the honor to moderate this week’s ‘AI Ethics & Governance’ panel in Los Angeles. It brought together thought leaders and experts for an engaging discussion on the challenges and responsibilities of artificial intelligence with both US and European perspectives. Hosted at the Residence of Belgium in Los Angeles by Consul General Sophie Hottat, along with Belwest CEO Alain Charbonnier, Rick Hack, Chair of EnTech at DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group.

The evening fostered meaningful dialogue on AI’s ethical implications, governance frameworks, and the role of businesses and policymakers in ensuring responsible development. The panelists:

• Dan Clarke, President at IntraEdge, a global tech company that along with Intel developed the Truyo privacy, compliance, and consent platform.
• Isabel Hahn, Policy Officer for AI privacy and AI governance at the EDPS (European Data Protection Supervisor) office in San Francisco.
• Brent Rabowsky, Senior Manager, Generative AI Specialist at Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Christophe Van de Weyer, CEO at Telesign, a leading company that provides digital customer identity and engagement solutions to build trust and reduce fraud.
• Moderator – Serge Jonnaert, Managing Director THE.MERGER.COMPANY®, an M&A and CEO advisory that does extensive work with AI companies.
